Role & responsibilities

Work youll do

- Gather qualitative and quantitative information from internal and external sources, document sources and assumptions.
- Triangulate data from various credible information sources to present accurate, relevant, and consistent information.
- Suggest alternate sources of data, learn and apply established research tools and methodologies.
- Connect various pieces of information by identifying patterns and forming logical structures to the data.
- Write crisp commentary and action-oriented takeaways of research information to drive insights aligned with the stakeholders’ objective.
- Manage project results by following the best project and time management practices while always adhering to quality guidelines.
- Liaise with colleagues from Deloitte offices spread across the globe and stakeholders to understand, refine, and manage project expectations and priorities.

Core Skills required

- Good knowledge of databases, public sources of information, and industry-specific sources
- Ability to find related information from authentic sources efficiently.



This would require the ability to validate/triangulate sources for relevancy and accuracy.
- Ability to clearly understand the research requirements through effective listening, comprehension, and probing skills.
- Good business writing skills—narrative, appealing, succinct. Should be able to convey research findings more efficiently through writing.
- Adept at written communication with stakeholders in adherence to email etiquette.
- Articulate ideas and points of view confidently and effectively during all stages of the project lifecycle
- Understanding company analysis, industry exposure, and skilled services experience is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree (Commerce, Economics, Linguistics, Statistics, Business Administration, Mathematics)
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in research, business analysis, market intelligence, or information management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Solid research skills and familiarity with various research tools (Factiva, EMIS, etc.)
