About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with solid expertise in Airline Passenger Service Systems (PSS) to lead and deliver complex airline technology transformation and implementation projects. The role requires deep understanding of airline business processes, PSS platforms, and end-to-end project delivery across multiple stakeholders. This is an onsite chance based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of Airline PSS implementation, migration, enhancement, and transformation projects.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
- Collaborate with airline business teams, vendors, technology teams, and third-party partners to ensure successful project execution.
- Drive requirements gathering, solution design reviews, testing, cutover planning, and production deployment activities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, QA, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.




- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership and client stakeholders.
- Manage project governance, RAID logs, change requests, and escalation management.
- Ensure compliance with airline industry standards, operational requirements, and service-level commitments.
- Support vendor management and coordination with PSS providers and associated airline systems.
- Facilitate business process improvements and technology modernization initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of Project Management experience in Airline IT or Aviation Technology.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Airline Passenger Service Systems (PSS).
- Strong understanding of airline operations including:
- Reservations
- Inventory Management
- Ticketing
- Departure Control Systems (DCS)
- Check-in Processes
- Flight Operations Integration
- Loyalty Programs
- Ancillary Services

- Experience managing large-scale PSS implementation, migration, upgrade, or integration programs.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience in stakeholder management across business, operations, and technology teams.
- Excellent project planning and resource management skills.
- Ability to manage distributed global teams and multiple workstreams.
