Role & responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for a Test Automation Lead who can lead automation initiatives and build AI-powered test automation solutions using Playwright, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern GenAI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade automation frameworks.
- Define automation strategy across UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
- Lead Playwright automation using Python and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Design reusable frameworks, libraries, utilities, fixtures, and automation standards.
- Identify opportunities to use AI/LLMs to improve the complete testing lifecycle.
- Implement AI-assisted test case generation, test script generation, test data generation, defect analysis, failure analysis, test maintenance, and self-healing automation.
- Evaluate and integrate AI testing tools and technologies.
- Build POCs and convert successful POCs into scalable solutions.
- Integrate automation with CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.
- Establish coding, automation, reporting, and quality standards.
- Review automation code and mentor automation engineers.
- Work with architects and engineering teams to define automation architecture.




- Provide technical estimates and contribute to client discussions, POCs, and solution proposals.

Required Skills

- 610 years of experience in Test Automation.
- Solid hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Excellent Python programming skills.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge.
- Strong experience in UI, API, and E2E automation.
- Experience designing automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git, Docker, and cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI and LLM-based applications.
- Experience with Prompt Engineering and AI-assisted software development/testing.
- Experience implementing or evaluating AI-driven test automation solutions.
- Strong leadership, communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with AI Agents, RAG, MCP, LangChain, or agent orchestration.
- Experience with self-healing automation.
- Knowledge of LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.
- Experience with performance/accessibility automation.
- Experience in building internal automation accelerators or QE platforms.
