Job Description - Manager HR (Industrial Relations & Contract Labour Management)

Location: Bhongir

Reporting To: Plant Head / Head - HR

Level: Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 10-15 Years

Job Summary

The Manager - HR will be responsible for driving Human Resource initiatives with a solid focus on Industrial Relations (IR), Contract Labour Management (CLM), statutory compliance, employee engagement, and workforce administration. The incumbent will play a critical role in maintaining harmonious employee relations, ensuring compliance with labour laws, managing union interactions, overseeing contract workforce operations, and supporting overall plant HR activities to achieve business objectives.

Industrial Relations (IR)

Develop and maintain healthy employee-employer relationships across the plant. Handle union interactions, negotiations, settlements, and grievance management. Lead wage settlement discussions and collective bargaining agreements.

Manage disciplinary proceedings, domestic enquiries, and misconduct cases. Ensure smooth handling of employee grievances and dispute resolution.

Monitor workforce climate and implement proactive IR strategies.

Liaise with labour authorities, factory inspectors, and government agencies.

Support management during labour disputes, conciliation proceedings, and legal matters. Ensure compliance with Standing Orders, Industrial Disputes Act, and applicable labour laws.

Contract Labour Management (CLM)

Manage end-to-end contract labour operations across the manufacturing facility. Ensure compliance with CLRA and labour-related statutory requirements.

Monitor contractor deployment, attendance,



wage payments, PF, ESI, bonus, and statutory remittances. Conduct periodic audits of labour contractors and vendor compliance.

Maintain contractor licenses, registrations, agreements, and labour records. Verify contractor bills and manpower deployment reports.

Coordinate with operations teams for manpower planning.

Ensure adherence to safety standards and welfare facilities for contract employees.

Statutory Compliance

Factories Act, CLRA Act, EPF & MP Act, ESI Act, Payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, and Shops & Establishments Act compliance. Coordinate inspections, audits, and timely statutory filings.

Qualifications

MBA/MSW in Human Resources, Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, Labour Welfare, or equivalent. Bachelor degree from a recognized university.

Experience

10-15 years in HR within manufacturing industries. Minimum 5 years in IR and CLM. Experience handling unions, wage settlements, labour disputes, statutory authorities, and large contract workforce management.
