Emerging Tech Technical Lead (AWS)

Requirements

To qualify for the role, you must have

Excellent academic background, including at a minimum a bachelor/masters degree in, Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field with strong quantitative focus.

- 6+ years of working experience with particular focus on the following:

Cloud & Platform Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- AWS (EKS, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions)

- Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture principles

Programming
- Proficiency in:
- Python
- Node.js (Preferred)

- Experience building RESTful / event-driven APIs and backend services

Event-Driven Architecture
- Experience with:
- Kafka
- Kafka alternatives (e.g., AWS EventBridge, SNS/SQS, Azure Event Hub, RabbitMQ, etc.)

- Solid understanding of asynchronous communication patterns in distributed ecosystem

Containers & Orchestration
- Hands-on experience with:
- Docker
- Kubernetes (EKS/AKS)

Full Stack Development
- Experience building end-to-end applications, including:
- Backend services
- API design
- Integration layers

Model Lifecycle & Orchestration
- Deploy, fine-tune, and orchestrate foundation models and LLMs using services like Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock. Design agentic workflows and multi-step AI processes

Performance Optimization
- Proven experience in:
- Application performance tuning
- Load handling and scalability improvements
- Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in distributed systems

Good to have
- Experience with microservices architecture




- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (practical exposure, not purely DevOps-focused)
- Knowledge of observability tools (monitoring, logging, tracing)
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud applications
- Exposure to frontend frameworks like React JS is a plus (but not mandatory)

Soft Skills
- Strong communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills in English for both technical and business audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work under tight timelines for multiple project deliveries.
- Ability/flexibility to travel and work abroad for international projects.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, resilient cloud-native applications using AWS/Azure services
- Develop and maintain end-to-end full stack solutions (backend, APIs, integrations, and cloud services)
- Implement event-driven systems using Kafka and related messaging/event streaming technologies
- Build and manage microservices using containers (Docker) and orchestration platforms
- Develop serverless applications using:
- AWS Lambda, Step Functions
- Node JS /Python

- Work with container platforms:

- AWS EKS / ECS
- AWS Bedrock and Integration with AI Models

- Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability through optimization, monitoring, and tuning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
