Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Data Analyst with strong expertise in healthcare/pharmaceutical data analytics, claims analytics, patient-level data and statistical analysis.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze healthcare and life sciences datasets and prepare exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical reports.
- Perform data manipulation, extraction and analysis using Oracle PL/SQL.
- Analyze large healthcare datasets and derive meaningful business insights.
- Work with patient-level transactional data and healthcare claims data.
- Perform analytics such as Adherence Studies, Line of Therapy (LOT), and Treatment Path Analysis.
- Support HEOR studies and other healthcare analytics projects.
- Develop and automate analytical and reporting processes.
- Utilize SAS/WPS/R for analytical and statistical modeling.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate existing analytical processes.
- Prepare reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Work independently and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Required Skills





- 35 years of experience in Healthcare / Pharma / Life Sciences Analytics.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and statistical analysis.
- Experience working with Healthcare/Pharmaceutical databases.
- Experience with Claims Data / Claims Analytics.
- Experience working with Patient-Level Data.
- Hands-on experience with SAS / WPS / R.
- Strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills; VBA knowledge is preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of reporting and data visualization.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.

Preferred / Good to Have

- Experience with IQVIA / IMS Health data assets.
- Experience with APLD (patient-level data).
- Exposure to healthcare data sources such as SHS, IQVIA, DRG, Labcorp, Flatiron, etc.
- Experience with Rx Claims / Medical Claims.
- Knowledge of HEOR studies.
- Experience in Adherence Analysis, Line of Therapy and Treatment Path Analysis.
- Healthcare or pharmaceutical domain experience.

Educational Qualification

Postgraduate degree in any of the following or related fields:

- Economics
- Statistics
- Mathematics
- Operations Research
- Quantitative Analysis
- MBA or related discipline
