Job Summary

As a React Native Developer, you will design, build, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications used by real users every day. You will work end-to-end - from translating Figma designs into polished components, to integrating APIs, to shipping builds to the App Store and Play Store.

We are looking for engineers who combine strong technical skills with an eye for great user experience, a bias for action, and genuine care for the quality of what they ship.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android.
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into polished, pixel-perfect, and performant React Native screens and components.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party SDKs including payments, push notifications, analytics, and maps.
- Manage application state using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API, following scalable architecture patterns.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code using TypeScript, and contribute to code reviews that raise the bar for the team.
- Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, crashes, and bugs to ensure a smooth, reliable user experience.
- Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests using Jest and React Native Testing Library.
- Own the build and release pipeline configure CI/CD workflows and manage submissions to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Collaborate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and product demos.
- Stay current on React Native releases, community libraries, and evolving best practices, and bring that knowledge back to the team.

You Might Thrive in This Role If You





- Have 2-5 years of hands-on React Native development experience with at least one live application on the App Store or Play Store.
- Are fluent in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+), and write code that others enjoy reading and maintaining.
- Have a solid command of React hooks, component lifecycle, and performance optimization patterns specific to mobile.
- Care deeply about the end user experience and hold a high personal bar for interface quality, responsiveness, and reliability.
- Are comfortable navigating native modules, platform-specific configurations, and the occasional Xcode or Android Studio deep-dive.
- Thrive in environments with fast-moving priorities, ambiguity, and the freedom to make meaningful technical decisions.
- Enjoy shipping you measure your impact by working software in users hands, not by lines of code written.
- Have experience with or genuine curiosity about building AI-powered mobile features and integrating large language model APIs.
- Bring strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating across product, design, and backend teams.

Bonus If You Have

- Experience with Expo (managed or bare workflow) and familiarity with the Expo ecosystem.
- Knowledge of native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development and writing custom native modules.
- Hands-on experience with animations using Reanimated 2+ or Lottie.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or Fastlane.
- Understanding of accessibility (a11y) best practices on mobile platforms.
- Open-source contributions to React Native libraries or community projects.
