Role Overview

AXI Energy is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer to lead pipeline engineering activities for onshore and/or offshore oil and gas EPCC projects—from FEED and detailed design through construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead pipeline design, engineering calculations, specifications, data sheets, and technical reports.
- Perform or review hydraulic, wall-thickness, stress, stability, expansion, and buckling analyses.
- Review pipeline routes, alignment sheets, crossings, tie-ins, material take-offs, and construction drawings.
- Prepare material specifications and technical bid evaluations.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Participate in design, constructability, HAZID, HAZOP, and risk reviews.
- Support pipeline installation, welding, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up.




- Ensure compliance with project requirements and standards such as ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, API, DNV, ISO, and NACE/AMPP.
- Resolve technical queries and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

- Minimum 12 years of relevant pipeline engineering experience, preferably in oil and gas EPCC projects.
- Strong experience across FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Knowledge of pipeline materials, welding, coatings, corrosion protection, and integrity requirements.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, PIPESIM, PipelineStudio, Synergi Pipeline Simulator, AVEVA E3D/PDMS, Smart 3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD, or Navisworks.
- Solid leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional or Chartered Engineer status is an advantage.
