About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team in Gurugram. You will be responsible for editing engaging video content including product videos, promotional content, social media reels, and corporate videos that effectively communicates our brand and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished videos for product promotions, social media, website, and corporate use
- Add graphics, transitions, effects, color correction, and sound design to enhance video quality
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to understand video briefs and brand guidelines
- Create short-form content (reels, YouTube Shorts, Instagram/Facebook videos) as well as long-form videos
- Sync audio, add background music, voiceovers, and subtitles/captions where required
- Organize and manage video assets, raw footage, and project files systematically
- Ensure all videos are optimized for their intended platform (social media, website, presentations, etc.)
- Stay updated with the latest video trends, editing styles, and tools
- Work within tight deadlines while maintaining quality and brand consistency
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Mass Communication, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 3-4 years of professional experience in video editing
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
- Basic knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and motion graphics
- Understanding of different formats and specs for various platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Strong storytelling sense and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience shooting/filming product or corporate videos (basic camera/DSLR handling)
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator for supporting graphics
- Experience with motion graphics and animation
- Familiarity with product photography/videography for hardware or similar industries
- Experience managing content for social media platforms
