Overview

The Manager Academic Affairs Curriculum will be responsible for curriculum design, credit-based course planning, pedagogy, assessment, academic quality, learner outcomes, and educational impact and ensure to meet the highest global standards of academic rigour in line with the requirements of national and international universities. The role requires a distinguished academician with deep subject expertise in Sanskrit, extensive experience in higher education and curriculum development, and experience serving on academic bodies of reputed universities and educational institutions.

Eligibility

- M.Ed in Sanskrit or Postgraduate degree in Sanskrit, Indian Knowledge Systems, or a relevant discipline from a recognised university.

- Extensive experience in higher education, with demonstrated expertise in curriculum design, pedagogy, assessment, and academic quality.

- Experience serving on Boards of Studies, Academic Councils, Curriculum Committees, or equivalent academic bodies of reputed institutions.

Position Description Key Responsibilities

- Course Conceptualisation and Coordination with Universities/HEI

- Conceptualise and structure comprehensive and globally accepted curricula, ensuring the same meets local, regional, national, international and industry needs. Appropriate blend of theory and practical to be achieved.

- Ensure development of course structure according to the credit requirements for online teaching. (Certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, Bachelors, Masters and Research OR courses equivalent of these to be developed)

- Identify gaps in the university structure and plan for bridge courses, course works, workshops,



Master Trainers Program, IKS and Sanskrit language lab, etc. that Vyoma can offer to Indian and international universities.

- Map the online course offered in Vyoma to an existing curriculum in universities and the credit structure requirements for language lab and other outreach offerings.

- Coordinate with universities/ Board of Studied of various institutions to plan for inclusion of Vyoma online courses satisfying their requirements.

- Promote the courses across national and international academia to ensure maximum participation.

- Ensure reusability of online courses of Vyoma through 4-quadrant MOOC approach and trying to offer it through SWAYAM.

- Have course-level accreditation with various universities.

- Have lateral entries for students of Vyoma into various university courses.

- Ensure entry-competencies and exit-competencies is specified in the curricula.

- Workout MoU with various universities to achieve the above.

- Pedagogical Innovation Learner Success

- Mentor, collaborate with, and guide teachers in adopting learner-centric frameworks.

- Continuously evaluate and enhance course offerings, learning materials, and assessments to maximise student retention, engagement, and practical comprehension.

- Ensure student is recognised with a certificate and other rewards at every level.

- Ensure all instructional materials and exercises align perfectly with the principles of Samskrita, Samskriti Samskara.

- Course outcomes to define corporate-industry readiness such that they are employable.





- Establish and monitor the robust feedback mechanisms that prioritise the students learning journey and impact on student.

- Help the student to have his/her personalised learning path in Vyoma.

- Academic Governance Quality Assurance

- Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, and drive appropriate measures to continuously enhance curriculum, pedagogy, teaching quality, assessment, and learner experience.

- Enhancing Academic Quality: Ensure academically rigorous, pedagogically sound, and consistently high-quality courses and teaching.

- Achieving Learning Outcomes and Impact: Ensure achievement of intended learning outcomes and systematically evaluate the effectiveness and educational impact of programmes.

Skills Required

- Knowledge of NEP2020, NCF2025, UGC guidelines and NAAC accreditation process is required.

- Deep understanding of curriculum, pedagogy, teaching-learning processes, and assessment.

- Ability to translate subject expertise into coherent and effective learning programmes.

- Ability to evaluate academic content critically and constructively.

- Excellent written and verbal English and Sanskrit communication skills.

- Ability to engage effectively with senior scholars, teachers, academic institutions, and multidisciplinary teams.

- Strong analytical ability, attention to academic detail, and commitment to quality.

Selection Process

An academic presentation/practical demonstration, and two rounds of panel interviews at the Bengaluru office.
