Role & responsibilities
- Maintain reliable and harmonious industrial relations and ensure business continuity.
- Develop and execute an annual IR Strategy & Action Plan.
- Lead/support wage negotiations and productivity-linked settlements.
- Establish strong shop-floor connect and early-warning mechanisms for IR risks.
- Ensure robust labour-law, contractor and statutory compliance.
- Drive manpower productivity and labour-cost optimization.
- Maintain comprehensive IR MIS, Risk Register and Legal/Dispute Tracker.
- Build IR capability among HODs, managers and supervisors.
Preferred candidate profile
Preferable candidate should have 15+ years relevant experience, preferably in a large unionized manufacturing organization such as Cement, Mining, Steel, Power or Engineering. Strong expertise in collective bargaining, labour laws, negotiation, grievance handling, disciplinary proceedings, contract labour and employee relations.
