Senior Student Counsellor

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Student Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in study-abroad counselling, particularly in handling Australian applications and student visa processes.

Experience with other popular study-abroad destinations such as the UK and Ireland will be an added advantage.

The candidate will be responsible for building robust relationships with students and providing them with professional guidance and exceptional support throughout their overseas education journey.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary point of contact for students after the initial counselling session.
- Respond promptly to student queries and provide accurate guidance throughout the application process.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with students while ensuring excellent customer service.
- Guide students through the university application, admission, documentation, and visa process.
- Coordinate with universities, partners, associates, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of student applications.
- Ensure students have all required documents and information for successful admission and visa processing.
- Maintain accurate and updated student records, communications, and application progress in the CRM system.
- Follow up with students regularly and ensure applications move forward within deadlines.




- Stay updated on university admission requirements, visa regulations, industry trends, and changes in study-abroad policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve student satisfaction and organizational targets.

Eligibility & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 2+ years of full-time experience in study-abroad counselling is mandatory.
- Strong experience in Australia applications and student visa processes will be highly preferred.
- Experience with UK and Ireland applications will be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Knowledge of additional regional/local languages will be a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-management, and counselling skills.
- Ability to handle multiple students and applications simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Confident, proactive, empathetic, and persuasive personality.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Passion for the international education industry and a genuine desire to help students achieve their academic and career goals.
