About the Role

Edwin Incorporation is looking for Sales Executives / Senior Sales Executives with prior experience in Academic, Research, Publishing, Patent, Journal, or related services.

The candidate will handle enquiries, counsel clients, explain suitable services, follow up with prospects, maintain CRM records, and achieve monthly sales and collection targets.

Relevant Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are strongly preferred:

- Patent Services – Filing, drafting, documentation, registration support
- Book Publishing – ISBN, academic books, edited books, formatting & publishing
- Journal & Research Publication – Research papers, UGC CARE, Scopus, Web of Science, peer-reviewed journals
- DOI / ISSN / Indexing Services
- Journal Website / OJS Services
- Conferences & Academic Events
- Editorial & Peer Review Services
- Academic Memberships, Awards & Fellowships
- Research / Academic Consultancy
- Plagiarism, Formatting & Manuscript Support
- Institutional Consultancy & Recruitment Services

Candidates with experience in any one or more of the above services are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle leads through calls, email and WhatsApp.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable services.
- Explain pricing, process, documentation and timelines.
- Follow up with prospects and convert leads into paid clients.




- Maintain lead and follow-up details in Zoho CRM.
- Coordinate with internal publication, patent, journal, technical and accounts teams.
- Manage payment follow-ups and achieve monthly sales/collection targets.
- Maintain professional and ethical communication with clients.

Required Skills

- 1–3 years of relevant sales / counselling / business development experience preferred.
- Strong Hindi and English communication skills.
- Experience in lead conversion, follow-ups and sales closing.
- Valuable understanding of academic/research-related services.
- Experience dealing with professors, researchers, PhD scholars, authors, academicians or institutions.
- Working knowledge of CRM, WhatsApp, email and MS Excel.
- Target-oriented with strong communication and negotiation skills.
