CCTV Operator – Job DescriptionJob Title: CCTV OperatorJob SummaryWe are looking for a responsible and alert CCTV Operator to monitor surveillance systems and ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, company premises, and assets. The operator will continuously monitor CCTV cameras, identify suspicious activities, respond to security incidents, and maintain accurate records.

- Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems continuously.
- Observe and identify suspicious, unauthorized, or unusual activities.
- Immediately report security incidents, emergencies, theft, damage, or safety concerns to the concerned authorities/security team.
- Maintain daily CCTV monitoring logs and incident reports.
- Review and retrieve CCTV footage whenever required for investigations.
- Ensure all cameras and monitoring equipment are functioning properly.
- Coordinate with security guards and other departments during emergencies or incidents.
- Maintain confidentiality of CCTV footage and security-related information.
- Monitor entry and exit points, parking areas, restricted areas, and other critical locations.




- Escalate equipment faults or camera failures to the concerned technical team.
- Follow all company security procedures and emergency protocols.
- Maintain proper handover and takeover records between shifts.
- Required SkillsGood observation and monitoring skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to operate CCTV/DVR/NVR surveillance systems.
- Positive communication and reporting skills.
- Alert, disciplined, and responsible attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to incidents.
- Basic knowledge of security and safety procedures.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
- Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 10th/12th qualification; higher qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience as a CCTV Operator/Security Control Room Operator preferred.
- Experience in operating CCTV, DVR/NVR, and surveillance monitoring systems will be an advantage.
