Role Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented SCM Executive to manage end-to-end supply chain activities including procurement, vendor coordination, inventory management, and logistics, ensuring smooth material flow to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate procurement of raw materials, components, and consumables as per production/project requirements
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors/suppliers; negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Track purchase orders from issuance to delivery, ensuring timely fulfillment
- Maintain and monitor inventory levels; conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliation
- Coordinate with logistics/transport partners for inbound and outbound shipments
- Ensure timely GRN (Goods Receipt Note) processing and quality checks on incoming materials
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and vendor contracts
- Work closely with finance for vendor payment processing and reconciliation
- Analyze supply chain data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements (GST, e-way bills, etc.)
- Coordinate with production/project teams to forecast material requirements
- Manage documentation for imports/exports, if applicable
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field
- 1–4 years of experience in procurement, SCM, or logistics (adjust based on seniority needed)
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with ERP/inventory software is a plus
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
