Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) to handle quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, billing, cost estimation, material reconciliation, and project cost control for our construction and real estate projects.

- Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for civil and construction works.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis, and project budgets.
- Verify contractor/subcontractor measurements and bills.
- Check RA Bills, work bills, and material bills before processing.
- Prepare BBS (Bar Bending Schedule) and verify reinforcement quantities.
- Monitor project quantities and maintain cost control.
- Compare actual quantities with BOQ and identify variations.
- Prepare variation statements and reconciliation reports.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Architects and Contractors.
- Verify material consumption and prepare material reconciliation.
- Assist in tendering, vendor/contractor comparison and rate negotiation.
- Maintain quantity, cost and billing records in Excel.




- Ensure project work is executed according to approved drawings, BOQ and specifications.
- Prepare periodic cost and quantity reports for management.
- Required SkillsStrong knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
- Good understanding of civil construction works.
- Knowledge of BBS and reinforcement quantity calculation.
- Experience in RA Bill checking and contractor billing.
- Positive knowledge of rate analysis and cost estimation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel / Advanced Excel.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and understand civil/architectural drawings.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Experience: Candidates with experience in real estate, residential projects, commercial buildings, villas, farmhouses or large-scale construction projects will be preferred.
