Key Responsibilities

Store Operations & Sales

- Manage day-to-day business operations to ensure the store runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
- Drive sales performance to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Oversee point-of-sale (POS) systems, cash handling, daily reconciliation, and basic administrative paperwork.
- Coordinate in-store promotional events, product demonstrations, and interactive play areas.

Merchandising & Inventory

- Maintain vibrant, eye-catching visual merchandising that highlights hot toys, seasonal trends, and new product launches.
- Monitor stock levels, place timely product reorders with vendors, and manage incoming shipments.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and minimize product loss or shrinkage.





Team Leadership & Customer Service

- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate retail sales associates.
- Set transparent staff schedules, delegate floor tasks, and foster an upbeat team culture.
- Model exceptional customer service, turning customer concerns or complaints into positive experiences.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven retail management experience, ideally within specialty retail, toys, or children's goods.
- Education: High school diploma required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or Education is a plus.
- Skills: Strong leadership, verbal communication, basic financial literacy (budgets and profit-and-loss awareness), and familiarity with POS/inventory software.
- Traits: High energy, approachable, passionate about play and toys, and patient with families and children.
