About the Role

Jain Telemedia Services Limited is establishing a dedicated AI Film and Serial Production Division. We are looking for multiple experienced Senior Directors who can independently take responsibility for one complete serial or film—from script interpretation and visual planning to final master delivery.

The selected candidates will lead teams of junior artists, AI operators, editors, animators, voice artists and other production professionals. This is a creative leadership role, not merely an AI software-operating position.

Key Result Areas (KRA)

Take complete creative and execution responsibility for an assigned film or serial.

Convert scripts into engaging screenplays, scenes, shots and visual sequences.

Prepare episode breakdowns, storyboards, shot divisions and production plans.

Define the visual style, character presentation, locations, costumes, lighting and overall treatment of the project.

Guide AI image, video, animation, VFX and voice-generation teams.

Maintain character, costume, location and visual continuity across all episodes.

Direct voice artists, music, background score and sound-design requirements.

Supervise editing and review rough cuts, fine cuts and final masters.

Ensure that storytelling, pacing, emotions, dialogues and performances meet broadcast standards.

Allocate work to junior team members and monitor their daily output.





Conduct regular creative reviews and ensure timely correction of rejected shots.

Maintain production quality while working within approved budgets and schedules.

Coordinate with writers, researchers, editors, AI artists and the production management team.

Ensure accuracy and sensitivity in religious, historical, cultural and mythological content.

Deliver every episode in the required television, OTT and digital-platform formats.

Take final responsibility for episode quality and on-time delivery.

Required Experience

Minimum 8 years of professional experience in directing television serials, films, documentaries, animation or high-quality digital content.

Experience of independently directing or supervising at least one complete film, serial, documentary series or long-format digital project.

Solid understanding of screenplay, shot division, camera grammar, continuity, editing, sound and background music.

Experience in managing creative and technical production teams.

Candidates from mythological, historical, devotional, animation or VFX-based productions will be preferred.

Knowledge of AI-assisted filmmaking will be preferred; however, strong direction and storytelling experience is essential.

Educational Qualification

Degree or diploma in Film Direction, Film Production, Mass Communication,



Television Production or a related field is preferred.

Exceptional candidates with strong professional experience and an outstanding portfolio may also apply without a formal film degree.

Preferred AI and Technical Exposure

Candidates should have working awareness of tools or workflows related to:

AI image and video generation

Virtual production

Character consistency

AI-assisted storyboarding and pre-visualisation

Voice generation and dubbing

Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / After Effects

VFX, animation and post-production pipelines

The candidate is not expected to personally operate every tool but must be capable of directing and reviewing the output produced through these technologies.

Percentage of shots approved without repeated corrections

Effective utilisation of junior production teams

Adherence to approved budgets and production schedules

Broadcast/OTT readiness of final output
