Professor of Practice / Associate Professor – Export-Import/International Business

DBS Global University is looking for a qualified and experienced faculty member specializing in Export-Import Management, International Business, International Trade, or Foreign Trade . The candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, developing course content, incorporating practical industry knowledge, and contributing to academic and research activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging lectures on Export-Import Management, International Business, International Trade, and Foreign Trade .
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, presentations, and assessments.
- Teach practical aspects of export-import procedures, documentation, logistics, international trade regulations, and customs procedures .
- Provide students with practical knowledge of international trade processes and business practices.
- Conduct case studies, workshops, seminars, and industry-oriented learning activities.
- Mentor and guide students in academic projects, internships, and research.
- Evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, presentations, projects, and other assessments.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic planning.




- Develop industry linkages and facilitate exposure to professionals and organizations involved in international trade.
- Participate in research, publications, conferences, seminars, and other scholarly activities.
- Stay updated with changes in international trade policies, EXIM regulations, customs procedures, trade agreements, and global business trends .

Eligibility Criteria:

Professor of Practice

- Master‘s Degree in International Business, International Trade or Foreign Trade (Mandatory).
- Minimum 15 years of relevant qualified experience in Export-Import operations, preferably with a reputed organization in the Export-Import/International Trade sector.

Associate Professor

- Ph.D. in International Business.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience in a recognized university/institution.
- Minimum 7 research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Candidates should have experience in supervising PhD scholars, with at least one research scholar registered under their guidance.
- Proven experience in research supervision, academic leadership, and institutional administrative responsibilities will be preferred.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in an export or import business dealing with products or services.
