MD Physician — Functional & Longevity Medicine ALIV Regenerative Wellness | Pune / Mumbai About the role Conventional medicine is built to catch disease once it has arrived. It is very good at that. What it isn't built for is the decade before — the drift, the compensation, the "everything's normal" bloodwork on a founder who knows something is off. That decade is where ALIV works. We're hiring an MD trained or self-trained in functional and longevity medicine to own the diagnostic and root-cause layer of our clinical practice. You'll take a client's full picture — advanced bloodwork, hormones, gut, inflammation, genetics, sleep, stress, nutrition, exposure, history, lived context — and build the systems-level understanding that everything else follows from. Where the regenerative interventions (IV, peptide, ACT, PRP) fit, you'll design that pathway alongside our clinical team. Where lifestyle, nutrition, or referral is the honest answer, you'll say so. We are not standard-of-care medicine. We sit alongside it. The right physician sees proactive optimisation as legitimate clinical work, holds a high evidentiary bar, and is comfortable saying "the evidence is emerging — here's what we know, here's what we don't." Reporting & team Reports to: Medical Director/ Founder Works alongside: procedural/regenerative physicians, Associate Medical Consultants, nursing team, nutrition and client relations Cross-functional: Research, operations, founder Core responsibilities 1. Root-cause diagnostic assessment 2. Systems-level protocol design 3. Longitudinal monitoring & iteration Own the client relationship across months and years, not visits Set re-test intervals and monitoring cadence per intervention Read response, adjust protocol, and be willing to stop what isn't working Maintain the longitudinal record that makes trajectory visible to the client 4. Clinical safety, compliance & referral 5.
Client experience 6. Team, protocol & knowledge development Required qualifications MBBS/ MD from a recognised institution — Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Family Medicine, Anti-Aging Medicine, or equivalent preferred Active NMC / State Medical Council registration in India Minimum 4–6 years post-MD clinical experience Demonstrable functional, integrative, or longevity medicine practice — formal training or a substantive self-directed track record with real patient volume Fluency in interpreting advanced biomarker panels beyond standard reference-range reading Solid command of nutrition science, hormone physiology, and metabolic health Preferred qualifications Formal certification: IFM (Institute for Functional Medicine), A4M, ACAM, BCIM , or equivalent Experience with peptide therapeutics , hormone optimisation, or IV therapeutics Experience interpreting gut/microbiome, organic acid, hormone metabolite , and genetic panels Familiarity with autologous cell-based procedures (PRP, exosomes, cell therapy adjuncts) Prior experience in premium private practice, concierge medicine, or an integrative clinic Published, taught, or spoken publicly in the longevity/functional space Who this role is for Mindset more than CV. We've found this matters more than any one credential: You believe "normal" is a population average, not an individual target — and you can explain the difference to a sceptical CEO in two minutes You hold a high evidentiary bar in an industry that mostly doesn't. You know the difference between animal-model data, an underpowered human trial, and a mechanism that sounds plausible — and you say which is which You're equally comfortable saying "here's what the evidence supports," "we don't know yet," and "no — that's the wrong protocol for you" You're a systems thinker. You see the connection between the sleep debt, the cortisol curve, the gut panel, and the lipid
