FyneHand has been mandated to hire a Zonal Director for a leading group of hospitals. The job is based in Gurugram / NCR or relevant zone Role Purpose: The Zonal Director will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple hospitals/units within the assigned zone, driving business growth, profitability, operational excellence, patient experience and clinical collaboration. The role will be responsible for ensuring that individual hospitals operate as high-performing, integrated businesses while maintaining standards of clinical excellence, quality and patient-centric care. Key Responsibilities 1. Zonal Business & P&L; Leadership Own overall revenue, profitability and business performance across the zone Drive growth through improved capacity utilization, specialty performance, new services and market development Monitor key metrics including revenue, EBITDA, occupancy, ARPOB, ALOS and specialty-wise performance Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiencies 2. Hospital Operations Provide strategic oversight to the operations of hospitals/units within the zone Ensure consistent operating standards, processes, governance and performance across units Improve patient flow, capacity utilization, productivity and service delivery Establish performance dashboards and regular business reviews 3. Clinical & Doctor Engagement Build strong relationships with senior clinicians and medical leadership Partner with clinical teams to drive specialty growth, doctor productivity and patient volumes Facilitate collaboration across hospitals and specialties Ensure operational decisions support clinical excellence and patient outcomes 4. Patient Experience & Quality Drive consistent standards of patient experience and service excellence across the zone Monitor NPS, patient satisfaction and complaint resolution Ensure adherence to quality, patient-safety, regulatory and accreditation standards 5.



Strategic Growth Identify opportunities for market expansion, recent specialties, capacity addition and service-line development Support new hospital launches, expansions and transformation initiatives Work closely with corporate functions on strategic and business-development initiatives 6. People & Leadership Lead and mentor Unit Heads and senior hospital leadership teams Build a strong leadership pipeline and succession plans Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance Drive cross-functional alignment across operations, clinical administration, HR, finance, marketing, supply chain and quality Candidate Profile 18 years of overall experience, with significant senior leadership experience in healthcare Proven experience managing multiple hospitals, business units or a large regional healthcare portfolio Experience in P&L; management, hospital operations and business growth Preferably from a large tertiary/quaternary-care multispecialty hospital environment Strong experience in managing senior clinicians, Unit Heads and multiple stakeholders Demonstrated ability to drive both growth and operational transformation Strong commercial orientation combined with a deep understanding of patient-centric healthcare Key Competencies Strategic leadership Multi-unit / multi-hospital operations P&L; ownership Business development & growth Clinical stakeholder management Patient experience Operational excellence Transformation & change management Leadership development Governance and execution Location: Gurugram / NCR or relevant zone Client details will be shared with shortlisted candidates only.
