Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Wordpress Developer located in Gurugram. The Wordpress Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, front-end development, responsive web design, web design, and web development tasks on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
- Convert UI/UX designs from Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools into responsive, pixel-perfect websites.
- Collaborate with designers, content teams, and other developers to bring web experiences to life.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, SEO, and accessibility.
- Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins using best practices.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services such as Stripe, Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across multiple browsers and devices.
- Work with version control systems (preferably Git) and use development tools (CLI, local environments).




- Ensure mobile-first and cross-browser compatibility of all WordPress builds.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in WordPress development.
- Solid knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Custom Post Types (CPTs), and Gutenberg blocks.
- Ability to work with REST APIs, AJAX, and data formats like JSON.
- Familiarity with database systems like MySQL.
- Understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, actions, and filters.
- Solid grasp of responsive design and mobile-first development.
- Experience working with Git and local development environments (e.g., XAMPP, MAMP, LocalWP).
- SEO knowledge, including schema markup and on-page optimization techniques.
- Basic understanding of Core Web Vitals and performance metrics.
