The Welder & Fabrication Specialist ensures the structural integrity and precise mechanical alignment of all physical gate automation systems. This role focuses heavily on fabricating customized motor plates, welding drive racks, and modifying heavy residential or commercial gates so they can interact flawlessly with motorized automation units and electronic locks without friction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties1. Motor Framing & Gear Rack Alignment

- Fabricate customized heavy-gauge steel motor mounting plates and robust framing structures tailored to various ground levels and site layouts.
- Position and weld segmented steel gear racks along the entire length of sliding gates, achieving perfect horizontal and vertical alignment to avoid motor pinion damage.
- Ensure all welded structures can permanently withstand high rotational torque, motor vibrations, and daily mechanical stress.

2. Structural Gate Modifications & Alterations

- Modify, reinforce, or realign heavy iron, MS (mild steel), or designer gates, hinges, structural pillars, and ground tracks to optimize them for automation.
- Install or adjust physical guide rollers, end-stoppers, and deadbolt brackets to guarantee smooth, low-friction, and silent manual movement before motor commissioning.
- Perform structural cut-outs or add custom metal housings to accommodate electronic drop-bolts, magnetic locks, or safety photo-beam brackets.

3. In office Installation Support & Operations

- Partner closely with the senior automation engineers to troubleshoot physical obstacles on-site,



providing rapid, strong fabrication solutions.
- Conduct systematic post-welding quality checks, including grinding down rough joints, applying anti-rust primers/coatings, and verifying track levels.

4. Machine Maintenance & Site Safety

- Operate and maintain personal equipment including portable single-phase arc welding machines, angle grinders, magnetic drills, and hand tools.
- Adhere strictly to standard hot-work safety protocols, including utilizing proper welding shields, maintaining clear spark perimeters, and handling power tools safely in varying weather conditions.

Education & Training

ITI Certification in Welding (ITI Welder / ITI Fitter) is highly preferred; or formal vocational training with deep technical expertise.

Technical Experience

2 to 5+ years of hands-on structural welding experience (Arc welding is mandatory; MIG/TIG experience is an added benefit).

Key Mechanical Skills

High precision in reading level-meters, measuring tapelines, interpreting basic blueprint sketches, and understanding structural balancing.

Mobility & Physical Effort

Must possess a personal two-wheeler (Bike) and a valid license. High physical stamina for extended outdoor field fabrication, lifting steel components, and navigating complex construction sites.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
