Position Overview

Aruna Promoters is seeking a dedicated and proactive Welfare Officer to manage and elevate working conditions across our stockyard and site operations. This role focuses on safeguarding worker health, safety, and well-being, maintaining high standards of workplace hygiene and accommodation facilities, ensuring statutory labor compliance, and acting as an empathetic liaison between on-site workers and management.

- Worker Welfare & Facilities

Ensure availability and cleanliness of drinking water, toilets, rest shelters, and washing facilities Maintain first-aid facilities and arrange medical assistance when required

Ensure proper lighting, ventilation, and protected access within the stockyard

- Health & Safety

Monitor safe handling, stacking, and movement of materials Ensure use of PPE (helmets, gloves, safety shoes, reflective vests)

Identify and report unsafe conditions, hazards, and near-miss incidents

Assist in accident prevention and emergency response

- Housekeeping & Hygiene

Ensures regular cleaning of stockyard area, pathways, accommodation and Toilets Prevent accumulation of waste, scrap,



or hazardous materials

Inspect cleaned areas to ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are met

Dispose of food waste properly , Empty trash bins and disposal of waste properly

- Labor Welfare & Compliance

Ensure compliance with labor laws and welfare standards Monitor working hours, rest breaks, and overtime practices

Support contract labor welfare and statutory compliance

- Grievance Handling & Coordination

Address workers’ welfare-related complaints Act as a link between workers, supervisors, and management

Assist labor officers or inspectors during inspections

- Training & Awareness

Educate workers on safety rules, hygiene, and welfare facilities Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions
- Records & Reporting

Maintain records of welfare facilities, safety incidents, and inspections Report welfare issues, accidents, and improvements needed to management
