Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly shop-floor production activities.
- Handle and allocate manpower as per project priorities.
- Monitor fabrication, welding, machining, drilling, tapping, mechanical assembly, pneumatic assembly, and other manufacturing activities.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and shop-floor resources.
- Track project-wise manufacturing progress against committed timelines.
- Identify delays and take corrective action to achieve project targets.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Electrical, Automation, and Project teams.
- Ensure material availability as per the manufacturing plan.
- Monitor work quality and reduce rework.
- Conduct daily shop-floor meetings and review work progress.
- Maintain daily production and project status reports.
- Ensure shop-floor discipline, safety, housekeeping, and PPE compliance.
- Support machine trials, FAT, and pre-dispatch readiness.
- Develop and guide supervisors,



technicians, welders, fitters, and other shop-floor employees.

Required Candidate Profile

- Minimum 5 years of experience in shop-floor, production, or manufacturing management.
- Preferred experience of 710 years in industrial automation, SPM manufacturing, machine building, fixtures, assembly lines, or automotive automation.
- Solid experience in manpower handling and production planning.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
