Roles and responsibilities

Plan and conduct age-appropriate, activity-based learning sessions for children in the Preschool/Nursery-KG age group. Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that supports each child's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Observe and track individual children's developmental progress and maintain easy, accurate records.

Manage daily classroom routines, including free play, structured activities, meals, and rest time. Communicate regularly and warmly with parents about their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns. Ensure the health, hygiene, and safety of children at all times.

Collaborate with co-teachers, the coordinator, and school leadership on curriculum planning and school events. Handle a child who is upset, disruptive, or struggling to settle in, with patience and an approach suited to their age.

Preferred Candidate Profile





Diploma or Certificate in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), or a B.Ed with a focus on early childhood education. Prior experience teaching the Nursery/KG age group is preferred; candidates with strong NTT training and genuine enthusiasm for early years are also welcome to apply. Real patience and warmth with young children matters more than credentials alone.

Clear, comfortable communication with both children and parents. Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team. Comfortable with basic classroom administration such as attendance and progress notes.
