Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Visa Counsellor with strong knowledge of international visa and immigration processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience counselling clients for Canada, UK, Australia, Germany, Ireland, and USA visa applications.

The Visa Counsellor will be responsible for understanding client profiles, recommending suitable visa options, explaining eligibility and documentation requirements, and guiding clients throughout the application process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel clients regarding student, visitor, work, and other relevant visa categories.
- Assess clients' academic, professional, financial, and travel profiles.
- Provide accurate guidance on visa options for:
- Canada
- United Kingdom (UK)
- Australia
- Germany
- Ireland
- United States of America (USA)
- Explain eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, application procedures, processing timelines, and applicable fees.
- Conduct detailed profile assessments and recommend appropriate visa pathways.
- Assist clients with document preparation and application formalities.
- Review applications and supporting documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Prepare clients for visa interviews where applicable.
- Follow up with leads and existing clients to support successful conversions.
- Coordinate with documentation, processing, admissions, and other internal teams.
- Maintain accurate client records, application status, and follow-up details.




- Stay updated on changes in immigration policies, visa rules, embassy requirements, and application procedures across the relevant countries.
- Handle client queries and concerns professionally and provide timely updates.
- Meet individual and team counselling, sales, and conversion targets.
- Ensure that all counselling and documentation support is provided ethically and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferred.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in visa counselling, immigration, overseas education, or a related field.
- Prior experience handling Canada, UK, Australia, Germany, Ireland, and USA visa applications is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of international visa processes and documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid counselling, interpersonal, convincing, and client-handling skills.
- Ability to assess client profiles and recommend suitable visa options.
- Strong follow-up and lead-conversion skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Target-oriented and customer-focused approach.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in an overseas education consultancy or immigration consultancy.
- Practical knowledge of visa documentation and application procedures for multiple countries.
- Strong understanding of student and visitor visa processes.
- Good knowledge of university/college admission processes will be an added advantage.
