WECAN Social Innovators is engaged in social innovation and community-focused initiatives aimed at creating meaningful social impact. We are looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor who can bring our projects, campaigns, events, and community stories to life through compelling visual content.

Job Summary The Video Editor will be responsible for editing high-quality video content for social media, campaigns, events, awareness programmes, and other organizational activities.

The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to turn raw footage into engaging and professional videos.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit videos for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
- Create engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, interviews, event videos, and campaign content.
- Edit long-form and short-form video content according to platform requirements.
- Add transitions, subtitles, text animations, music, sound effects, voiceovers, and other visual elements.
- Perform basic colour correction, colour grading, audio enhancement, and video optimization.
- Convert raw footage from field activities, events, campaigns, and community programmes into engaging stories.




- Collaborate with the social media and project teams to understand content requirements.
- Develop creative approaches to present social-impact stories effectively.
- Ensure videos follow the organization's branding and communication guidelines.
- Organize and maintain video files, project files, footage, and other digital assets.
- Deliver assigned projects within agreed timelines.
- Stay updated with current video trends, editing techniques, and social media formats.

Required Skills
- Strong video editing and visual storytelling skills.
- Valuable understanding of pacing, transitions, composition, typography, and audio.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand a concept and convert it into an engaging video.
- Good knowledge of social media video formats and trends.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel locally for events and field activities when required.

Preferred Software Skills Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- Final Cut Pro
- CapCut
- Canva or other relevant content creation tools

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
