About the Role

Nexgen360Digital is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our on-site team in Egmore, Chennai. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for visual storytelling and be passionate about creating engaging videos for social media, digital marketing campaigns, and other online platforms.

Responsibilities

- Edit engaging videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Transform raw footage into polished, engaging, and visually appealing videos.
- Add transitions, effects, subtitles, music, sound effects, and graphics as required.
- Create short-form and long-form video content based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to understand creative requirements.
- Ensure videos are optimized for different social media platforms and formats.
- Maintain consistency in video quality, branding, style, and visual identity.
- Select suitable music, footage, graphics, and other visual elements for projects.
- Make revisions based on feedback and deliver projects within deadlines.




- Stay updated with the latest video editing styles, social media trends, and content formats.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Visual Communication, Digital Marketing, Film, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Video Editor is preferred (Freshers with strong editing skills and a good portfolio may also apply).
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
- Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, transitions, audio, and visual storytelling.
- Positive knowledge of social media video formats and trends.
- Creative mindset with robust attention to detail.
- Ability to understand creative briefs and work independently.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- A portfolio or sample work is an advantage.
