Role Description

This is a full-time, in office role for a Video Editor based in Chennai.

We’re looking for someone who understands not just editing, but storytelling, pacing, musical sense, and audience retention. This role requires strong script understanding and visual instinct to transform raw footage into high-performing content across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Edit high-quality videos for social media, ads, and brand content

Translate scripts into engaging visual storytelling

Use music, pacing, and cuts to enhance viewer retention

Create motion graphics and basic visual effects where required

Collaborate with content, design, and growth teams

Maintain consistency in style, branding, and quality

Work on tight timelines with fast turnaround

Must Have Skills

- Strong skills in video production and video editing, with experience in both long-form and short-form content
- Strong sense of music, timing, pacing, and storytelling




- Ability to understand and translate scripts into engaging visual narratives
- Expertise in video colour grading and motion graphics to enhance visual appeal and retention
- Proficiency in graphics creation to design supporting visual assets
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of current video trends, formats, and audience behaviour
- AI Prompting skills: the ability to write structured prompts for generating visual/video outputs
- AI Video Generation skills: the ability to create high-quality AI videos using tools like Envato, Higgsfield, or similar platforms
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment with quick turnaround times
- Close attention to detail, consistency, and quality control
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Film Production, Media, Design, or a related field
- Experience in digital marketing, branding, or storytelling is a plus

Good to Have (Bonus) Skills in animation and advanced motion graphic

Experience working with creators, brands, or agencies

Understanding of social media content trends and formats

Hands-on experience in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Animate, Blender.
