M Security is a cybersecurity and technology-focused organization creating educational content around Cyber Security, Ethical Hacking, OSINT, Technology, Digital Marketing, AI, and related topics.

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who can transform our raw recordings into engaging, professional, and high-retention YouTube videos.

Job Responsibilities The selected candidate will be responsible for editing:

- YouTube long-form videos
- YouTube Shorts
- Short-form content for Instagram Reels and Facebook
- Educational and technical videos
- Promotional and marketing videos when required

Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into professional, engaging YouTube videos.
- Create strong hooks and engaging openings to improve audience retention.
- Remove unnecessary pauses, mistakes, repetitions, and dead space.
- Add smooth cuts, transitions, zooms, animations, and effects where appropriate.
- Add captions/subtitles, especially for Shorts.
- Create professional text overlays, callouts, highlights, and visual explanations.
- Add relevant B-roll, screenshots, stock footage, graphics, and screen recordings.
- Synchronize voice-over, music, sound effects, and visuals.
- Improve audio quality by reducing unwanted noise and maintaining consistent volume.
- Perform basic color correction and color grading.
- Create different versions/formats suitable for 16:9 YouTube videos and 9:16 Shorts/Reels.
- Follow the M Security brand style and maintain consistency across videos.
- Understand the importance of watch time, audience retention, CTR, hooks, pacing, and engagement.




- Work with the content team to make videos more visually interesting and easier to understand.
- Deliver projects according to agreed deadlines.
- Make revisions based on feedback.

Required Skills We are looking for someone with strong practical knowledge of:

Adobe Premiere Pro – Essential

You should be comfortable with:

- Timeline editing
- Multicam/basic advanced editing
- Keyframes
- Speed ramping
- Audio editing
- Color correction
- Text and motion graphics
- Adjustment layers
- Effects and transitions
- Proxy workflow
- Export settings for YouTube

CapCut – Strong Knowledge Preferred You should have good knowledge of CapCut for creating:

- YouTube Shorts
- Instagram Reels
- Fast-paced social media content
- Auto captions
- Text animations
- Trending editing styles
- Short-form hooks
- Vertical 9:16 videos

We Prefer Candidates Who Understand YouTube This is not just a basic video-cutting job.

The ideal candidate should understand how editing affects YouTube performance.

You should know how to:

- Create a strong first 3–10 seconds
- Maintain audience attention
- Improve pacing
- Use pattern interrupts
- Highlight important information
- Create curiosity through editing
- Avoid unnecessary long pauses
- Make technical topics easy to follow visually
- Edit Shorts for high retention
- Repurpose long-form videos into multiple Shorts

We want a video editor who is:

- Interested in YouTube and social media




- Capable of working independently

- Willing to learn recent editing styles and techniques
