x42 is a venture studio co-building businesses across consumer brands, technology and emerging sectors. We are building an in-house digital team to create revenue-generating digital assets and support marketing across our portfolio companies.

About the role

We are looking for a video editor with a strong creative eye and hands-on knowledge of AI tools. You should be able to turn ideas, briefs and raw footage into distinctive, polished content for YouTube, Instagram and digital advertising.

You will work directly with the founder and performance marketer, producing content that builds audiences, supports online sales and helps launch new digital channels.

Responsibilities

- Edit Videos, Instagram Reels, Shorts, product explainers and video ads for both long and short form.
- Create strong hooks, engaging pacing and explicit visual storytelling.
- Add motion graphics, animation, captions, sound design and colour grading.
- Use AI tools to generate and enhance video, images, voiceovers and other production elements.
- Combine filmed footage, stock assets and AI-generated material into cohesive videos.
- Adapt content for different platforms and portfolio brands.
- Improve videos using feedback,



audience retention and campaign performance.

What we are looking for

- A strong portfolio demonstrating editing quality, creativity and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent professional editing software.
- Working knowledge of After Effects or comparable motion graphics tools.
- Practical experience with AI video, image and audio tools, supported by examples.
- Strong judgement in pacing, typography, music, sound and visual composition.
- Ability to deliver polished work from a basic brief with minimal supervision.
- Reliability, ownership and enthusiasm for experimenting with new content formats.

Your portfolio and execution skills matter more than formal qualifications.
