Hirely is recruiting Video Annotation Specialists on behalf of a hiring partner for an AI training project focused on video and audio analysis.

You'll review short video and audio clips, evaluate AI-generated descriptions, apply detailed annotation guidelines, and provide accurate feedback that helps improve next-generation AI systems.

What You'll Do

- Review short video and audio clips for detailed annotation and assessment
- Analyze both visual and auditory elements of assigned content
- Evaluate AI-generated descriptions for accuracy and completeness
- Verify AI outputs against project guidelines
- Identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, ambiguities, and errors
- Provide clear and concise written feedback on reviewed content
- Apply consistent and objective judgment when labeling and evaluating content
- Flag content that does not meet required quality standards
- Escalate unclear cases or issues requiring project-team clarification
- Follow project protocols to maintain annotation quality and data integrity
- Collaborate with project coordinators and remote team members
- Adapt quickly to new annotation tools, workflows, and quality standards
- Suggest improvements to annotation and quality-assurance processes
- Maintain strict data confidentiality throughout the project

Who We're Looking For

- Experience in data annotation, data labeling, or content moderation is a plus
- Video or audio annotation experience is an advantage
- Solid English communication skills
- Ability to provide clear written and verbal feedback




- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to apply guidelines consistently and objectively
- Comfortable performing detailed, repetitive review tasks
- Experience with generalist training, content review, or guideline-based evaluation is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and processes
- Reliable internet connection
- Commitment to data confidentiality and accuracy
- Previous AI experience is not required

Compensation & Terms

- $8-10/hour
- Independent contractor
- Fully remote
- Approximately 1,000 openings
