Position Overview The Executive - Inward will be responsible for receiving incoming automotive parts, checking the quantity and condition of the goods, completing inward entries and ensuring that received parts are properly recorded and stored. The role will also involve coordinating with Procurement and other teams to resolve any issues with incoming stock.

Key Responsibilities

Inward Operations

- Receive automotive parts from suppliers and other locations.
- Check received goods against purchase orders, invoices and delivery documents.
- Verify part numbers, descriptions and quantities.
- Check the physical condition of parts received.
- Identify shortages, excess quantities, damaged parts or incorrect items.
- Ensure all inward transactions are recorded accurately.
- Ensure received parts are moved to the correct storage location.
- Inform the reporting manager about any mismatch or issue in the received stock.

Quality & Quantity Checking

- Check the quantity of parts received before accepting the material.
- Verify that the part received matches the part ordered.
- Identify damaged or incorrect parts and keep them separately where required.
- Coordinate with Procurement for supplier-related discrepancies.
- Ensure discrepancies are recorded and followed up until resolved.

Documentation & Records





- Maintain inward records and supporting documents.
- Check purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes and other relevant documents.
- Ensure all inward documents are properly recorded and maintained.
- Prepare daily inward reports as required.
- Maintain records of shortages, excess, damages and rejected items.

Inventory Coordination

- Ensure received parts are properly labelled and stored.
- Update stock records after inward completion.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for proper storage and location of parts.
- Support regular physical stock checks.
- Report stock-related discrepancies to the reporting manager.

Coordination

- Coordinate with Procurement regarding pending and incorrect supplies.
- Coordinate with Accounts regarding invoice and document-related issues.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for storage of received parts.
- Follow up on pending inward entries and unresolved discrepancies.

Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification

- Graduate or Diploma in any discipline.

Experience

- 1-3 years of experience in warehouse, inward, inventory or logistics operations.
- Experience handling automotive parts will be preferred.

Industry Experience

- Experience in the Passenger Car Aftermarket Industry will be an advantage.
- Experience handling automobile spare parts will be preferred.
