Role Description The Type Certification Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Hyderabad. This position is responsible for leading and coordinating type certification activities for unmanned aerial systems, ensuring compliance with relevant aviation, safety, and defence standards. Day-to-day tasks include defining certification plans, preparing technical documentation, liaising with regulatory bodies, and supporting design and engineering teams to meet certification requirements.

The role involves planning and overseeing ground and flight tests, analyzing results, and driving design changes needed for certification approval.

The Type Certification





Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D;, electronics, and product engineering, to ensure that aircraft systems are validated, documented, and ready for operational deployment.

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electronics, Avionics or a relevant engineering discipline.

Support UAS/Drone Type Certification activities and preparation of technical documentation.

- Assist with compliance requirements as per applicable DGCA regulations and certification standards.
- Prepare, review and maintain certification documents, technical reports, test records and compliance evidence.
- Coordinate with design, manufacturing, quality and flight-test teams for certification activities.
- Support ground testing, flight testing and verification/validation activities.
- Maintain configuration records and traceability of certification documentation.
- Coordinate responses to technical observations and certification queries.
- Ensure engineering changes are appropriately documented and assessed for certification impact.

Preferred Skills:
