- We are looking for experienced Transport Surveyors / Traffic Survey Professionals for a ZDP Project in Patna, Bihar.

- Selected candidates will be involved in conducting various transportation and traffic surveys required for the preparation of the ZDP.

- Candidates should have prior hands-on experience in transport surveys and a practical understanding of Traffic Volume Count (TVC), Origin-Destination (OD) Survey and Ground Truthing.

- This is a field-intensive role requiring candidates to work at different locations across Patna and coordinate with the transport planning team.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct and supervise Traffic & Transport Surveys at identified locations.

- Carry out Traffic Volume Count (TVC) surveys for different vehicle categories and time periods.

- Conduct Origin Destination (OD) Surveys and accurately record trip-related information.

- Undertake Ground Truthing to verify existing road, transport and land-use conditions on site.

- Collect traffic and transportation data through manual and/or mobile-based survey methods.

- Record classified traffic counts, vehicle movements and other required traffic characteristics.





- Identify and document major traffic generators, junctions, corridors, bottlenecks and transportation-related issues.

- Collect field information related to roads, intersections, public transport, parking, pedestrian movement and other relevant transport infrastructure.

- Ensure proper recording, checking and validation of survey data.

- Coordinate with survey teams, supervisors and transport/urban planning professionals.

- Assist in organizing, compiling and reviewing field survey data.

- Ensure surveys are conducted according to the prescribed methodology, formats and project requirements.

- Prepare daily progress reports and communicate field-level observations to the project team.

- Practical knowledge of transportation and traffic survey techniques.

- Valuable understanding of traffic and transportation terminology.

- Ability to identify different vehicle categories during traffic counts.

- Ability to accurately record and validate.

- Preferred Experience: 15+ years in Transport Survey / Traffic Survey / Transportation Planning / Field Data Collection.
