Key Result Areas (KRA)

KRA1

- Ensure the applications are processed in the team as per SLA s in order to achieve the company target.
- To Underwrite all cases as per limits assigned as per defined limit
- Ensure other cases are assigned to the team and are completed by within the defined TATs.
- Monitor the team productivity on regular basis take appropriate actions to improvise in case of lapses.
- Ensure all branch queries are replied before we close for the day.
- Ensure the equitable work distribution to the team.
- Conduct regular Reviews and audits in order to keep a check on the quality ensure the consistency in the decision and mitigate risk.

KRA2

- Facilitate smooth completion of new business Reinstatement cases.
- Reply to all the queries of the external internal clients, followup on the critical cases resolve the escalated cases on priority.
- Provide the input to the sales team to help them login the right business with proper documents for faster completion.

KRA3





- Provide training to members of the underwriting, zone operations and sales teams for faster empowerment, better decision making and ensuring achievement of better input accuracy for the branches respectively.
- Identify the training needs for core underwriting team provide on the job training to them along with in house / external technical trainings.
- Conduct regular training for the field operation sales force on the underwriting which will help them achieve better accuracy level.
- Communicate effectively with the team to keep them informed about the latest practices, changes guidelines.
- To give regular feedbacks to the team to avoid errors in policy processing and decisions.
- To be available for any internal or external audit as per functional need.

KRA4

- Coordinate with other functions/departments for smooth functioning.
- To interact on regular basis with the other back office functions i. e. New Business, Policy Administration, Claims, Legal Compliance etc.
- Timely reverts on claims underwriting cases to help them resolve their cases.
- Coordinate with the recent business team for better planning of resource within underwriting overall file handling.

KRA5

- To be single point of contact for any system need of the function in order to have a smooth functioning better productivity.
- Identify the system improvisations required both workflow/policy admin system for underwriting function coordinate with IT/SSG for its delivery.
- Plan out regular UATs; assign dedicated resource to work on it, coordinate, followup and finally get the changes implemented.
- Coordinate with IT team for any system related issues or clarifications to ensure smooth functioning of the system.
