Role Description The TGT Science role is a full-time, on-site position based at the SRMPS campus in Lucknow. The educator will plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum, using a variety of teaching methods and resources to make concepts clear and relevant. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, conducting practical activities in the laboratory, assessing student progress, and maintaining accurate records of assignments and examinations.

The role also involves guiding students in project work and research-based activities, supporting remedial sessions where needed,



and collaborating with colleagues to integrate science learning with other subjects. The teacher is expected to participate in school events, parent interactions, and professional development initiatives that support the “MODERN GURUKUL” philosophy.

Qualifications

- Strong subject knowledge in Science with the ability to teach at the middle and secondary school level.
- Analytical skills to explain complex concepts clearly and to assess student performance effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for classroom instruction, student feedback, and interaction with parents and colleagues.
- Educational background in Science or Education (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science and/or B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification).
- Ability to incorporate research-based activities and inquiry-oriented learning in classroom and laboratory settings.
- Prior teaching experience at school level, preferably as TGT Science, with familiarity with CBSE or similar curricula.
- Competence in classroom management, lesson planning, and use of basic educational technology.
- Commitment to inclusive, student-centered pedagogy and to the holistic development of learners in a residential or day-boarding environment.
