Role Description The TGT Social Science faculty member will teach Social Science to middle and secondary school classes, following the C.B.S.E. curriculum and school guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, preparing instructional materials, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.

The role also involves maintaining classroom discipline, integrating experiential and activity-based learning, organizing projects and discussions, and participating in school events, meetings, and professional development sessions. This is a full time,



on-site position based in Ghaziabad, requiring regular collaboration with colleagues, communication with parents/guardians, and active contribution to the school’s holistic development initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong subject knowledge in Social Science (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) and familiarity with the C.B.S.E. curriculum.
- Lesson planning and classroom management skills, with the ability to facilitate activity-based and discussion-based learning.
- Assessment and evaluation skills, including designing tests, assignments, projects, and providing timely feedback.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, collaborate with staff, and interact with parents/guardians.
- Proficiency in using basic educational technology and digital tools for teaching, content presentation, and record-keeping.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Science or related disciplines, along with a B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training qualification.
- Commitment to child-centric pedagogy, inclusive education practices, and fostering values, social responsibility, and ethical behavior.
- Prior teaching experience at middle or secondary school level, preferably in a C.B.S.E. school, will be an added advantage.
