Jacquard CAD Designer / Weave Technician

Seasons Industries Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly skilled and technically strong Jacquard CAD Designer / Weave Technician to join our woven-textile manufacturing team.

The role will focus on creating intricate, commercially relevant jacquard designs for scarves, stoles, shawls, suit fabrics, throws, cushions and other woven home-textile products for the Indian and European markets. We are looking for someone who combines creative design ability with a solid understanding of jacquard weaving technology, loom requirements and production feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop original and buyer-led jacquard designs for scarves, stoles, shawls, throws, cushions, furnishing fabrics and woven accessories.
- Translate artwork, moodboards, client references and market trends into technically feasible jacquard designs suitable for production.
- Create production-ready CAD files and technical graphs compatible with jacquard looms.
- Develop detailed technical specifications covering yarn quality and count, colour order, weave structure, EPI, PPI, repeat size,



denting, fabric weight/GSM and finishing requirements.
- Create intricate, high-quality woven patterns including florals, paisleys, checks, stripes, geometric structures, textured surfaces and contemporary furnishing designs.
- Develop jacquard collections for both the domestic Indian market and export-focused European customers, with an understanding of different customer preferences, design sensibilities and quality expectations.
- Work closely with the weaving, sampling, merchandising and production teams during sample development and bulk production.
- Check and resolve technical concerns including float length, yarn breakage, motif clarity, fabric density, selvedge quality, repeat alignment, colour balance and weaving feasibility.
- Develop woven constructions that achieve the required surface texture, drape, durability, reversibility, weight and handle for each product category.
- Support the creation of seasonal product ranges and maintain organised records of artwork, CAD files, technical specifications, yarn references and approved samples.
- Stay updated on jacquard design, furnishing trends, colour directions and woven-textile developments relevant to European and Indian markets.

Candidate Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Textile Design, Textile Technology, Weaving Technology, Fashion/Textile Design, Home Textiles, or a closely related discipline.




- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in jacquard design, jacquard CAD, woven-textile development or weaving technical operations.
- Demonstrable experience in the furnishing and home-textile category, particularly throws, cushions, upholstery, decorative fabrics, blankets or related woven products.
- Strong working knowledge of jacquard CAD/CAM software and the ability to create loom-ready production files.
- Strong technical understanding of jacquard weaving, weave structures, warp and weft planning, yarn counts, EPI, PPI, reed/denting, repeats, GSM, yarn colour planning and finishing.
- Ability to develop intricate jacquard patterns while managing production requirements such as float control, fabric stability, weave balance and durability.
- A strong portfolio featuring jacquard fabrics, woven furnishings, throws, cushions, textile surfaces or other technically developed woven products is essential.
- Experience working with cotton, wool, viscose, linen, silk, polyester, acrylic and blended yarns will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, colour sensitivity, commercial awareness and an organised approach to sampling and production documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with factory teams and manage multiple product developments at once.
