Role Description The Tele-counselor role at Abroad Ideas is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Tele-counselor will engage with prospective students and families via phone and other communication channels to provide information on international study programs, eligibility criteria, and application processes.

Day-to-day responsibilities include answering inquiries, explaining course and university options, guiding students through documentation requirements, and maintaining accurate records of interactions in the internal systems. The role also involves following up with leads,



scheduling counseling appointments, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting students through key steps such as admissions and visa filing. The Tele-counselor is expected to deliver clear, empathetic guidance and contribute to a positive experience for every prospective student.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to counsel students and families effectively over phone and digital channels.
- Ability to explain complex information clearly, including course options, admission procedures, and visa requirements.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and CRM or student management systems for tracking and updating student records.
