SAR runs a two-part Strategy structure: this function identifies problems and specifies solutions; a separate Data & Technology team builds them. You are the critical link between the two — you don't write code, but the quality of what gets built depends entirely on the quality of what you specify.

You'll be embedded in a business or zone, expected to understand its Sales, Operations and Finance processes deeply enough to diagnose real problems — not symptoms — and translate them into requirement documents precise enough that a developer can build against them without needing to ask twenty follow-up questions.

Responsibilities:

- Run periodic reviews with Sales/Ops/Finance stakeholders to track business health, closure of action items and adoption of solutions.
- Map current-state processes across Sales, Operations and Finance for your assigned business — directly working with function heads




- Track and interpret the core business metrics by segment: Volume, Revenue, GP, EBITDA, PBT, AR ageing, AP ageing etc.
- Write detailed business and functional requirement documents for the Data & Technology team, covering data sources, logic, edge cases, and what “done” looks like.
- Own the loop end-to-end: requirement → UAT → rollout → adoption tracking. A shipped solution nobody uses is not a completed task.
- Identify the root cause behind a problem — not just the dashboard someone asked for — before proposing a fix.

Qualification:

Preferred Background

- 3-5 years of experience in CRM/ERP/TMS/WMS implementation, internal IT-business liaison roles, or business/process analyst roles within logistics, manufacturing, or another operationally intensive industry.
- A demonstrated track record of writing functional or requirement specs that a development team actually built from — not just process slides.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets fluency; working familiarity with SQL, Power BI, or low-code tools is a strong plus.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar) and working knowledge of financial statements
- Comfort with shadowing sales and ops teams on the ground, not just analyzing exports from a desk.
- Prior exposure to freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain is a plus but not mandatory if the process-to-spec muscle is strong.
- Experience with IT projects/ digitalization is an added advantage.
