Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) Technical Team Lead to lead a team responsible for Service Requests (SR), Incident Requests (IR), application onboarding, production support, and operational stability and drive improvements. The candidate should be technically hands-on, capable of troubleshooting complex IIQ issues, driving operational excellence, and ensuring adherence to SOPs and SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and provide technical direction to the SailPoint IIQ Operations team handling SRs, IRs, onboarding and production support.
- Provide hands-on technical troubleshooting for SailPoint IIQ workflows, provisioning, certifications, connectors, aggregation and application issues.
- Own resolution of complex/escalated incidents and act as the technical point of contact for stakeholders.
- Drive application onboarding activities, including requirements analysis, connector configuration, testing and production implementation.
- Ensure SOP, SLA and operational compliance, with solid focus on reducing repeat incidents and operational gaps.
- Review team deliverables, identify quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Mentor junior engineers and build technical capability within the team.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and proactive monitoring to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Engineering, BA, Testing and client/stakeholder teams for issue resolution and onboarding activities.
- Provide operational metrics,
risks, trends and improvement plans to leadership.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ.
- Strong knowledge of IIQ architecture, workflows, provisioning, aggregation, certifications, roles and connectors.
- Experience with application onboarding and production support in an enterprise IAM environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across IIQ and connected applications.
- Good understanding of Java, SQL, XML, BeanShell/IdentityIQ scripting and integration concepts.
- Experience handling P1/P2 incidents, escalations and production-critical issues.
- Strong understanding of ITIL/SOP-driven operations and SLA management.
- Proven experience leading/mentoring technical teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred
- SailPoint IIQ certification.
- Experience with REST APIs, Active Directory, LDAP, databases and common enterprise connectors.
- Experience driving automation and operational transformation.
Key Differentiator: This is a hands-on Technical Team Lead role. The candidate must be capable of independently troubleshooting complex SailPoint IIQ issues while leading the team and driving operational excellence.
