Role Description The Team Lead role at PREMIER is a full-time, in office position based in Mysore or Bengaluru.

The Team

Lead will oversee daily operations for a designated team, including planning workloads, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress against targets. This role involves guiding and coaching team members, resolving operational issues, and ensuring adherence to company processes, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Lead will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, prepare regular performance reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives in efficiency and service delivery. This position also requires active participation in team meetings, clear communication of goals and expectations, and support for training and development activities.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated team leadership skills, including planning, delegation, performance monitoring, and coaching.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams, partners, and stakeholders.
- Experience in operations or project coordination within manufacturing, agriculture, irrigation, or related sectors is preferred.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage conflicts and address operational challenges promptly.
- Basic understanding of water management, micro-irrigation systems, or agricultural practices is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using standard office software and digital tools for reporting, documentation, and data tracking.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru or Mysore and maintain a hands-on approach to team and process management.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, agriculture, operations management, or a related field is beneficial.
