Job Summary

Elevate is recruiting a Team Lead- Finance and Accounting to join Elevate as part of Law Firm Operations.

The Team

Lead will be responsible for supervising and mentoring the billing team, ensuring accuracy and compliance in billing processes, and liaising with onshore managers to meet firm standards. They will oversee workload distribution, drive process improvements, maintain documentation, and provide regular progress updates while fostering team development and collaboration.

Responsibilities

- Be a POC to onshore team.

- Be responsible for Month end closing and reporting.

- Coordinate with local accountant in the team.

- Be responsible for team handling and QC.

- Be a part of production as well when needed.

- Should have extensive Knowledge of Billing, E-billing and Month end accounting.

- Reconcile all bank accounts, trust accounts, and internal accounts to ensure accuracy.

- Reconcile payroll journals between the General Ledger (GL) and payroll system.

- Post necessary journal entries for accrued expenses, prepayments, and any adjustments needed.

- Strong workflow, time management and prioritization skills.

- Ability to coordinate multiple projects with deadlines and changing priorities.





- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and MS Project).

- Financial Analysis: Ability to analyze financial data and create financial models.

- Budgeting and Forecasting: Skills in preparing budgets and forecasting future financial performance.

- Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of financial regulations and ensuring compliance.

- Taxation: Understanding of tax laws and preparation of tax returns.

- Problem-Solving: Identifying issues and developing effective solutions.

- Leadership: Leading and inspiring the team.

Experience

- Minimum 7 years (Preferably, prior experience working with AU processes in Law Firms).

- Excellent accounting experience.

- Experience in Elite-3E billing tool and knowledge of General accounting and bookkeeping.

- Extensive in Billing, E-billing and Month end accounting.

Qualifications

- Any graduate.

- MBA in Finance is preferred.
