Roles and Responsibilities

- Teach Sanskrit language and literature to students using the prescribed learning program and curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and assessments to measure student progress.
- Provide individualized support to students through tutoring and remedial sessions.
- Help students improve Sanskrit reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension skills.
- Introduce students to Sanskrit literature, shlokas, stories, and cultural concepts in an engaging manner.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching methods, learning resources, and classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, assignments, and progress reports.
- Encourage students to develop an interest in Sanskrit language and Indian heritage.

Desired Candidate Profile





- 0-2 years of experience in teaching Sanskrit or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Sanskrit, Education, or a relevant field. B.A./B.Ed. in Sanskrit will be preferred.
- Robust knowledge of Sanskrit grammar, literature, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
- Ability to teach Sanskrit reading, writing, comprehension, and conversational basics effectively.
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms and educational technology.
- Excellent reading comprehension, writing, communication, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
