Lead and coordinate the tax agenda across the IMEA region to ensure compliance with applicable direct and indirect tax regulations, effective management of tax risks and timely support to business decisions.

The role acts as the regional tax subject-matter expert and business partner to Finance and commercial teams, ensuring appropriate tax governance, supporting cross-border transactions and organizational changes, and proactively identifying tax risks and opportunities.

The position coordinates with local finance teams, Group Tax, external tax advisers and authorities to ensure consistent application of Group tax policies and compliance with local requirements.

- Own and coordinate the tax agenda across IMEA, ensuring compliance with Group tax policies and local legislation. Identify, assess and proactively manage material tax risks and exposures across the region
- Oversee corporate income tax compliance, tax provisioning, tax return preparation and tax payments across IMEA entities, working with local finance teams and external advisers where applicable
- Provide oversight and technical guidance on VAT, GST and other indirect taxes, including transaction treatment, registrations, filings, reconciliations and resolution of complex indirect tax matters
- Support implementation and compliance with Group transfer pricing policies,



including documentation, intercompany arrangements, benchmarking requirements and assessment of tax implications arising from cross-border transactions
- Advise on withholding tax, permanent establishment, double-tax treaties and other international tax matters arising from cross-border payments, contracts and business activities
- Provide practical tax advice to Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Legal and other functions on commercial contracts, new business models, restructuring, investments and market-entry initiatives
- Manage and coordinate tax audits, assessments, enquiries and disputes with tax authorities, including collaboration with external advisers and preparation of supporting documentation and positions
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual tax reporting, including current/deferred tax calculations, tax provisions, uncertain tax positions and reconciliation of tax balances in cooperation with Financial Reporting and Group Tax
- Monitor changes in tax legislation across IMEA, assess potential business impact and lead implementation of required changes. Support regional and global tax projects, including Pillar Two and other evolving international tax requirements where applicable
- Strengthen tax processes, documentation and internal controls; coordinate local finance teams and external tax advisers; promote consistent tax practices and improve tax awareness across the organization

Education Qualification:

- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics or related field
- Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred
- Additional specialization or certification in International Tax, Transfer Pricing or Indirect Tax is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of corporate taxation, VAT/GST, withholding tax, transfer pricing and international tax principles

Strong preference for prior Big 4 tax advisory experience
