Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Summary The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities while also supporting key HR operations including onboarding, payroll coordination, attendance management, and statutory compliance. The role will ensure timely hiring of quality talent, smooth joining processes, accurate payroll inputs,
proper employee documentation, and adherence to applicable labour laws and company policies.
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned positions, from understanding manpower requirements through offer acceptance and joining.
Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, recruitment consultants, professional networks, and other relevant channels.
Screen resumes, conduct preliminary discussions, assess candidate suitability, and prepare shortlists for hiring managers.
Coordinate interviews, assessments, feedback, reference checks, and selection processes.
Maintain an active talent pipeline for critical and recurring positions.
Prepare and issue offer letters and coordinate salary discussions and joining formalities.
Track recruitment metrics such as open positions, source effectiveness, time-to-fill, offer-to-joining ratio, and hiring status.
Build a solid candidate experience and maintain professional communication throughout the recruitment cycle.
Employee Onboarding & HR Operations
Coordinate pre-joining documentation, background verification, induction, and onboarding activities.
Ensure timely creation and maintenance of employee files, HRMS records, and personnel documentation.
Coordinate employee offboarding, exit documentation, full-and-final inputs, and exit interviews.
Support employee engagement initiatives and address routine employee queries professionally.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and recruitment information.
Payroll & Attendance
Coordinate monthly payroll inputs including attendance, leave, new joiners, exits, salary revisions, incentives,
deductions, and other employee changes.
Verify attendance, leave records, timesheets, and payroll-related data for accuracy before processing.
Liaise with payroll service providers or internal finance teams to ensure timely and accurate salary processing.
Support resolution of employee payroll and salary-related queries.
Assist in maintaining payroll records and reconciliation of payroll-related information.
Statutory Compliance
Support compliance with applicable labour and employment laws, rules, and company policies.
Coordinate statutory payroll-related requirements such as PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, and other applicable deductions and filings, as relevant to the organization.
Maintain statutory registers, employee documentation, declarations, and compliance records as required.
Coordinate with external consultants, payroll vendors, and relevant authorities for routine statutory compliance matters.
Track compliance calendars, renewal dates, filings, payments,
and documentation to help ensure timely completion.
Assist with audits, inspections, notices, and statutory documentation when required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
25 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition/Recruitment with exposure to payroll and statutory compliance.
Experience in independently handling recruitment mandates and coordinating with hiring managers.
Hands-on exposure to payroll inputs, attendance, employee records, and statutory HR processes preferred.
Required Skills
Strong sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, and stakeholder-management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of recruitment portals, LinkedIn, HRMS, and MS Office/Google Workspace.
Practical understanding of payroll processes and statutory compliance requirements.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate HR and compliance documentation.
Good organizational, multitasking, follow-up, and time-management abilities.
High level of confidentiality, integrity, professionalism, and ownership.
