Hyundai Motor India Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fixed Term Contract Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Chennai. This role is crucial for managing the end-to-end talent acquisition process for the Chennai Cluster, which comprises approximately 2500 employees across six business units. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in optimizing the cost per hire through efficient sourcing strategies, meticulous tracking of recruitment expenses, and robust data analysis of key talent acquisition metrics such as conversion ratios and source effectiveness.

This position also involves the critical tasks of interview scheduling and preliminary stakeholder management to ensure a seamless and effective recruitment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, from requisition to offer closure, for all vacant positions within the Chennai Cluster.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent through various channels, including job portals, professional networks, and internal referral programs.
- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date database of function-wise vacancies and candidate pipelines.
- Schedule interviews, coordinate with hiring managers and candidates, and ensure timely feedback loops.
- Track and report on key Talent Acquisition metrics, including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire,



and source effectiveness, to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct preliminary stakeholder management to understand hiring needs and ensure alignment throughout the recruitment process.
- Facilitate pre-joining formalities, including document verification and background checks, to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Prepare negotiation sheets and support the offer closing process, ensuring internal parity and competitive compensation packages.

Educational Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Human Resources or a related field.

Must-Have Skills
- Extensive experience in end-to-end talent acquisition and sourcing through effective channels.
- Proven ability in stakeholder coordination and management.
- Strong understanding of internal parity and offer-related dynamics.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience utilizing professional networking platforms and AI-based screening tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Valuable-to-Have Skills
- Experience with PowerPoint for presentation and reporting.
- Demonstrated success in building and leveraging internal reference mechanisms.
- Familiarity with the automotive industry.
