About the Opportunity

HummingBird is hiring a Head of Talent Acquisition on behalf of its client, a leading organization based in Noida.

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Talent Acquisition to lead the organization's talent acquisition strategy, recruitment operations, employer branding, and talent pipeline initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building and managing recruitment teams, partnering with senior business leaders, developing scalable hiring strategies, and delivering high-quality talent at speed. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational excellence, stakeholder management, and strong knowledge of modern talent-sourcing practices.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Strategy

- Develop and execute the organization's overall talent acquisition strategy in alignment with business growth plans.
- Partner with senior leadership and business heads to understand workforce requirements and hiring priorities.
- Develop short-term and long-term talent acquisition plans based on business needs.
- Build scalable recruitment processes, frameworks, and best practices.
- Establish recruitment KPIs and continuously improve hiring efficiency and effectiveness.

L eadership & Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and develop the Talent Acquisition team.
- Define team goals, responsibilities, performance metrics, and development plans.
- Build a high-performance and collaborative recruitment culture.
- Coach recruiters on sourcing, screening, stakeholder management, interviewing, and offer closure.
- Allocate recruitment resources based on business priorities and hiring volumes.

End-to-End Recruitment

- Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle from workforce planning and sourcing through selection, offer management, and onboarding.
- Ensure timely closure of critical and leadership-level positions.




- Build strong talent pipelines for current and future business requirements.
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, professional networks, recruitment agencies, and other channels.
- Drive direct sourcing and reduce dependency on external recruitment agencies where appropriate.
- Ensure a strong and consistent candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Stakeholder Management

- Act as a strategic talent advisor to senior leaders, business heads, and hiring managers.
- Establish effective relationships with key stakeholders across business and functional teams.
- Provide regular hiring updates, market intelligence, recruitment analytics, and talent insights to leadership.
- Partner with business leaders on difficult-to-fill positions and strategic hiring initiatives.

Employer Branding & Talent Engagement

- Develop and strengthen the organization's employer brand and employee value proposition.
- Lead initiatives to improve the organization's visibility and attractiveness among target talent pools.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams on recruitment campaigns and employer-branding activities.
- Build long-term relationships with passive candidates and strategic talent communities.

Recruitment Analytics & Process Improvement

- Establish and monitor key metrics including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, offer-to-join ratio, source effectiveness, quality of hire, and recruiter productivity .
- Use recruitment data and market insights to identify trends and improve hiring outcomes.
- Identify bottlenecks in the recruitment process and implement corrective actions.
- Drive automation and technology adoption across talent acquisition processes.

Vendor & Budget Management

- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, job portals, assessment providers, and other talent partners.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate commercial terms where required.
- Manage the Talent Acquisition budget effectively.
- Develop an optimal mix of internal and external recruitment channels.

Required Qualifications





- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources is preferred.
- 8–12 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment , with significant leadership experience.
- Proven experience managing recruitment teams and large-scale hiring initiatives.
- Strong experience in stakeholder management and partnering with senior leadership.
- Demonstrated success in building talent pipelines and closing critical positions.
- Solid understanding of modern sourcing strategies and recruitment technologies.
- Experience managing recruitment metrics, dashboards, and hiring analytics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter , ATS platforms, job portals, and recruitment analytics tools.
- Strong knowledge of direct sourcing, passive candidate engagement, and talent mapping.
- Experience with employer branding and recruitment marketing.
- Exposure to AI-powered recruitment and talent-sourcing tools.
- Strong understanding of compensation trends and talent-market intelligence.
- Experience managing recruitment budgets and external hiring vendors.
- Experience hiring across multiple functions and geographies is an advantage.
- Experience working with a large, global, or rapidly growing organization is preferred.
